- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆We came for a bar lunch a few weeks ago It was not a pleasant experience. Our guests had come from Wiltshire, and we were all very hungry. We gave our order, then we had to go and find the lady to ask if we could have some drinks. Our panninis were the worst we have ever eaten. The bread was dry and like cardboard, the beef . preformed. There was no salad. I put most of it in my bag for the dog. We thought we would tale a chance on dessert as we were still hungry. We wanted the Belgium mini desserts, but the lady said " Oh we dont do those anymore , they kept melting! The lounge was not too warm and dated, and there wasnt a soul i n sight.. If we had been on our own, we would have walked out.but our guests had only one hour in Ilkley, so we stayed. I think you should be ashamed to serve pre packed food... especially when there are so many excellent places in Ilkley Had we known , we would have never have come.m and we wont be recommending our friends.
